フレキシブルオフィス WeWork を日本国内で展開する WWJ株式会社（本社：東京都港区、代表取締役社長 兼 CEO：熊谷 慶太郎、以下「WeWork Japan*1」）は、経済産業省が推進する「モビリティDXプラットフォーム*2」と連携し、WeWork コミュニティを活用したイノベーション創出を目的とする共創イベントやコミュニティ構築を通じて、モビリティ分野における産官学の協業を後押しします。

WeWork の全国拠点におけるコミュニティ運営ノウハウや、多種多様なメンバー企業との交流およびマッチング促進の実績を活かし、企業や自治体、研究機関とのオープンイノベーションを促進します。第一弾の取り組みとして、2025年9月17日（水）にWeWork 渋谷スクランブルスクエアでのイベント「WeWork Mobility Project – Lap 2 〜テクノロジーで描く交通事故ゼロの未来〜」を実施いたします。

WeWork Japan は、本取り組みを通して、モビリティ領域における社会課題の解決と協業の加速を図ります。各地のWeWork拠点を活用し、産官学の多様なパートナーとのつながりを育みながら、モビリティ分野における新しい価値の創出に貢献してまいります。

交通・モビリティ分野における社会課題（脱炭素、地域交通、都市DX等）に対して、WeWork のコミュニティ間でのオープンイノベーションや、産官学連携の横断的な知見とリソースを融合し、オープンかつ具体的な協業の場を創出。WeWork の「つながり」と「機会」における場の提供により、小規模から大規模におけるイベントの実施や、入居メンバー企業との関係機関の橋渡し役を担います。

1. ピッチ＆交流会の開催

幅広い WeWork の入居メンバー企業やモビリティ領域（自動運転・MaaS技術等）に関わる企業のマッチングを図る大規模なネットワーキングイベントを開催し、新たなモビリティサービスの提供を目指した協業パートナーの発掘を図ります。

2. メンバー別座談会の開催

特定の WeWork 入居メンバー企業のモビリティDXに関わるマッチングニーズに対して、適切なターゲットの選定と招待を行い、具体的な協業において議論を行う座談会を開催し、クローズドなマッチングの場を提供します。

3. WeWork 拠点の場を活用した集客と運営

特定の WeWork 入居メンバー企業や経済産業省のイベントニーズに対し、個別に WeWork 拠点の場や集客・運営などにおける連携を行うことで、イベントの目的やタイミングに合わせた柔軟な企画を実施いたします。

「WeWork Mobility Project – Lap 2 〜テクノロジーで描く交通事故ゼロの未来〜」

WWJ Corp. (“WeWork Japan*1”), the operator of WeWork’s flexible office spaces in Japan, today announced a partnership with the Mobility DX Platform, an initiative led by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI). Through this collaboration, WeWork Japan will harness the strength of its community platform to drive innovation and foster cross-sector partnerships across business, government, and academia in the mobility space.

By leveraging its nationwide network of flexible office spaces and expertise in community building, together with a proven track record in fostering collaboration and business matching among diverse member companies, WeWork Japan aims to accelerate open innovation and the creation of new value. As the first initiative under this partnership, WeWork will host “WeWork Mobility Project – Lap 2: A Future of Zero Traffic Accidents Powered by Technology” on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at WeWork Shibuya Scramble Square.

Through this initiative, WeWork Japan will help accelerate innovation and collaboration in the mobility sector by connecting industry, government, and academia at WeWork locations across Japan. In doing so, it will also contribute to addressing key social challenges.

This collaboration focuses on addressing social challenges in the mobility sector, including decarbonization, regional transportation, and urban digital transformation. By combining cross-sector expertise and resources with the diverse strengths of the WeWork community, it creates a platform for open and practical innovation. WeWork Japan will serve as a bridge between member companies and key stakeholders, while hosting events of all sizes that encourage solution-driven dialogue and co-creation.

1. Pitch & Networking Events

Large-scale networking events will bring together a wide range of WeWork member companies, especially those in mobility fields such as autonomous driving and MaaS technology. The goal is to connect them with potential partners and spark collaborations that lead to new mobility services.

2. Closed Roundtable Discussions

Targeted roundtable sessions will address specific collaboration needs of WeWork member companies in the mobility DX domain. Selected stakeholders will be invited to join focused discussions aimed at building concrete partnerships and shared understanding.

3. Use of WeWork Spaces for Community Engagement & Events

WeWork locations will be used flexibly to support events organized by members or METI. This includes providing venues, community engagement, and operational support tailored to the purpose and timing of each event.
