フレキシブルオフィス WeWork を日本国内で展開するWWJ株式会社（本社：東京都港区、代表取締役社長 兼 CEO：ユー・ジョニー・ジョン・ワン、以下「WeWork Japan*1」）は、福岡市「天神駅」直結のハイグレードビル「天神ブリッククロス」北棟の13階・14階の2フロアにおいて、2025年8月に「WeWork 天神ブリッククロス」をオープンする予定です。

また、南棟3階ビル共用ラウンジのプロデュースを行い、WeWork Japan初となる「THE LOUNGE by WeWork」を同時にオープンし、WeWork 入居メンバーおよびビルテナントが利用可能になります。ラウンジ内には、会議室やフォンブースなどを配置する上、イベントスペースとしても貸出を行う予定です。

福岡市は、スタートアップ支援やデジタルノマドを受け入れるための施策を積極的に展開しており、グローバルなネットワーク構築を推進しています。また、国内外からの起業家をサポートするためのインキュベーションプログラムや、快適なビジネス環境を提供する仕組みを整備しています。

日本生命保険相互会社と積水ハウス株式会社により共同開発された「天神ブリッククロス」は、敷地内に壁面緑化や常緑樹並木を備えたゆとりある豊かなプロムナード（半屋外空間）を設けることで人々の交流を促進させ、ファサードには石・金属・コンクリート板等の素材感のある外装材を活かしたクラシカルな建物デザインとすることで、天神地区に風格と品格を持つランドマークを創出しています。

また、明治通りと昭和通りの両方に面した希少性の高い立地に加え、地下鉄駅直結のアプローチルートを備えています。悪天候の際も快適でスムーズで優れたアクセス性を確保しています。

天神エリアの中心地に位置し、利便性と快適性を兼ね備えたスペースを提供します。デザイン性に優れたオフィス空間は、フリーランスやスタートアップ、中小企業、大企業のサテライトオフィスとして利用可能で、コミュニティを活性化させる場としても最適です。

WWJ Corp. (“WeWork Japan*1”), the operator of WeWork’s flexible office spaces in Japan, plans to open “WeWork Tenjin Brick Cross” on the 13th and 14th floors of the North Wing of Tenjin Brick Cross, a high-grade building with direct access to Tenjin Station in Fukuoka City. 

Additionally, WeWork Japan will design a shared lounge on the 3rd floor of the South Building and open “THE LOUNGE by WeWork,” its first-ever shared lounge and event space in Japan. This space will be accessible to WeWork members and building tenants, featuring meeting rooms, phone booths, and a rentable event space.

Fukuoka City is actively developing measures to support startups and embrace digital nomads, and is promoting the building of a global network. In addition, the city has established incubation programs to support entrepreneurs from Japan and abroad, as well as a system to provide a comfortable business environment.

Furthermore, Tenjin Brick Cross, the site of WeWork’s new location, is positioned along Meiji-dori and Showa-dori, the two main thoroughfares in Kyushu’s largest office and commercial district. It stands as a new landmark at the heart of Tenjin Big Bang, an urban redevelopment initiative led by Fukuoka City to revitalize and enhance the area’s appeal.

This project has introduced state-of-the-art buildings with cutting-edge technology and design, further solidifying Tenjin’s status as a hub for business, commerce, and cultural exchange. Additionally, Tenjin Brick Cross is just 12 minutes from Fukuoka Airport Station, ensuring seamless access to the Tokyo metropolitan area and other key locations. Tenjin Brick Cross, jointly developed by Nippon Life Insurance Company and Sekisui House, Ltd., features a classically inspired facade that incorporates stone, metal, and concrete, creating a distinguished and elegant landmark in the heart of Tenjin. With its prime location facing both Meiji-dori and Showa-dori, the building offers direct access to the subway station, ensuring seamless and comfortable connectivity—even in inclement weather.

Located in the heart of Tenjin, this space seamlessly blends convenience and comfort. Designed to accommodate freelancers, startups, small and medium-sized businesses, and large corporations, it serves as both a functional workspace and a hub for community engagement.

The 13th and 14th floors of WeWork will feature a color palette and design inspired by the breathtaking views of Hakata Bay, creating a refreshing and open atmosphere. Meanwhile, the 3rd-floor “THE LOUNGE by WeWork” will incorporate modern colors and design elements that reflect central Tenjin’s vibrant energy, resulting in a luxurious, sophisticated environment.
