The WeWork way of working, now in Okinawa

WeWork Okinawa Pilot Program

Through partnerships with external venues, this program offers a new way of working in a WeWork-like environment.

Located in Naha, just steps from Kokusai Street, on the top floor of the Southwest Grand Hotel. Book your visit in flexible 30-minute increments. No WeWork membership is required.
Concept
Expanding Flexible Work Styles
We are redefining underutilized spaces as places to “work” with complimentary power, Wi-Fi, and free coffee available, and expanding flexible work styles that are not tied to location.

Rather than a traditional office, this space serves as a hub connecting local communities, startups, and entrepreneurs from Japan and abroad, as well as freelancers and digital nomads. It enables unique interactions that can only happen here.

This program launches in Okinawa, with plans to expand to other cities in the future.

This program is available not only to hotel guests but also to external visitors.

Events
About “CHAMPURU TECH”
Through this space, we aim to create a new event series that fosters innovation by bringing together startups, large enterprises, and local organizations from both inside and outside the region.

“CHAMPURU TECH” is inspired by the Okinawan word “champuru,” meaning a mix — reflecting a blend of diverse people, ideas, and cultures to generate new value and innovation.

Following a kickoff event planned for May 2026, we aim to host regular events every few months.

Further details will be announced soon on the WeWork events page.
