フレキシブルオフィス WeWork を日本国内で展開するWWJ株式会社（本社：東京都港区、代表取締役社長 兼 CEO：熊谷 慶太郎、以下「WeWork Japan*1」）は、大阪「本町駅」直結の新拠点「WeWork 本町ガーデンシティテラス」を2026年2月にオープンする予定です。

本拠点は、大阪の中枢・御堂筋沿いに位置するハイグレードオフィスビル「本町ガーデンシティテラス」内に開設されます。3フロアに渡り、外光をふんだんに取り入れた開放感あるデザインと、くつろぎの場となるバルコニー空間を兼ね備え、入居メンバー企業のさらなる創造性と生産性の向上を目指します。

大阪市は、西日本の経済・文化・商業の中心地として、スタートアップ支援やビジネスエコシステムの強化、都市再生プロジェクトを積極的に推進しています。特に本町エリアは、関西を代表するオフィス街として再開発による環境整備が進んでおり、交通利便性、都市機能、自然との共生を兼ね備えた注目のビジネス拠点です。また、2025年の大阪・関西万博開催より、関西経済の成長や企業の柔軟な働き方へのニーズが高まる中、WeWork Japanは本拠点の開設を通じて、企業の多様な成長ステージや働き方に寄り添い、より良い働く環境の提供を目指します。

「本町ガーデンシティテラス」は、大阪の御堂筋沿い、本町駅直結という卓越した立地に、2023年3月に誕生した新たなランドマークビルです。

「光・風・緑・時の移ろいを感じられる“リビングオフィス”」をコンセプトに、自然を身近に感じられる快適な執務環境を提供しています。高層フロアからの三面眺望、低層フロアの緑豊かなバルコニー、自然光が降り注ぐサンクンガーデンなどが、都市の中にいながらもリラックスできる空間を生み出しています。地下鉄3路線が交差する本町駅に直結しており、梅田・難波・新大阪・空港・京都・神戸といった関西圏主要エリアへのアクセスも良好。また、開放感あふれる無柱の大空間や柔軟なレイアウト設計、非常時のBCP対応設備など、次世代の多様な働き方に応える先進的なオフィスビルです。

緑豊かなバルコニーの空気感をインテリアに取り込むことをコンセプトに、リゾートのような自然の癒しと、本町という街が持つ魅力を融合させた、唯一無二のワークスペースを創出します。

ラウンジ内には外部の開放感と居心地の良さを演出する豊かな植栽を配置し、それらが空間に溶け込むよう、自然素材やオーガニックな建築要素を織り交ぜながら空間を構成します。また、各エリアで天井の素材や高さ・形状を変化させることで、立体感のある空間デザインを実現。本町からインスパイアされたアートや建築素材を随所に散りばめることで、街の歴史や文化を感じながら、クリエイティビティが刺激される場所となることを目指しています。

12階メインラウンジに隣接するバルコニーは全入居メンバーに開放され、Wi-Fiや外部家具の利用も可能となるため、憩いの場としてもカジュアルなミーティングや作業の場としても活用できます。バルコニーとラウンジそれぞれに隣接した会議室は、開放感を維持しつつプライバシーも確保したデザインとなっています。さらに、11・12階には専用バルコニーを備えたプライベートオフィスを配置し、屋外でも快適に業務が行える環境を提供します。

また、調査によると自然に囲まれた環境で働くことにより、従業員の健康状態が15%、生産性が6%、創造性が15%向上する*2とされており、本拠点は働く人々の心身の健やかさと企業の成長を両立する新たなワークプレイスとなります。

WWJ Corp. (“WeWork Japan*1”), the operator of WeWork’s flexible office spaces in Japan, is pleased to announce the opening of its newest location, “WeWork Hommachi Garden City Terrace,” scheduled for February 2026. This new workspace will be directly connected to Osaka’s Hommachi Station.

Located on Osaka’s iconic Midosuji Avenue, this new WeWork will occupy three floors within the premium office building “Hommachi Garden City Terrace.” Designed with openness and natural light in mind, the space features serene balcony areas that create a calming atmosphere, fostering both creativity and productivity for member companies.

Osaka is the key hub of economic, cultural, and commercial activity in western Japan, driving startup support, business ecosystem growth, and urban redevelopment. The Hommachi area, in particular, is emerging as a key business district, with ongoing efforts to improve access, infrastructure, and harmony with nature. With the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo expected to boost regional momentum and demand for flexible work, WeWork Japan is proud to support diverse workstyles and business stages through this new location.

Completed in March 2023, “Hommachi Garden City Terrace” is a landmark office tower located along Osaka’s iconic Midosuji Avenue with direct access to Hommachi Station.

Designed as a “Living Office” where people can experience natural light, wind, greenery, and the passage of time, the building provides a comfortable and nature-integrated environment in the heart of the city. Upper floors feature sweeping panoramic views, while lower levels include lush green balconies and a sunken garden that fills the space with daylight, creating a calm, focused atmosphere within the bustling city center. 

With direct connections to three Osaka Metro lines, the building ensures exceptional access to key business hubs including Umeda, Namba, Shin-Osaka, as well as Kyoto and Kobe. Its flexible, column-free layouts and robust BCP (Business Continuity Planning) features make it a future-ready workspace designed to support diverse modern workstyles.

The design of WeWork Hommachi Garden City Terrace draws inspiration from the building’s lush green balconies, seamlessly integrating their airy, resort-like atmosphere into the interior. Lounge areas will be filled with abundant greenery to create an open, relaxing environment. Natural materials and organic forms will harmonize the interior with its surroundings, while varying ceiling textures and layouts will introduce rhythm and depth. Local artwork and architectural touches inspired by the Hommachi neighborhood will foster cultural connection and spark creativity.

A spacious shared balcony connected to the 12th-floor lounge will be available to all members, offering Wi-Fi and outdoor seating for casual meetings, quiet reflection, or focused solo work. Meeting rooms positioned next to the lounge and balcony are designed to feel private yet open. Private offices on the 11th and 12th floors will also include personal balconies, supporting a comfortable outdoor work experience.
